My husband and I were E2 (Investor) visa customers. We had to renew our position every two years. Once (she or the Department of Homeland Security), I misspelled my name simply. Debra could not take care of it for nearly a year. I had to go abroad, but this irrevocable mistake prevented me from doing it. After that, my husband went to his home country and prepared all the necessary documents to apply for a visa from there. Only a few months ago, for two more years, he had just renewed his position, but he was denied. I was in America alone with my baby. He told us that as soon as he had notified us of what had happened and asked us for directions.
, but she didn't talk. I called her mobile phone and company more than 20 times, left many messages and wasted. I just wanted to know how long I could stay in Japan legally because my position was tied to my husband's position. But I didn't call. I was left in the dark, living in constant fear of the police knocking on the door and taking the baby with me. I had to sell my property and leave the country for a few weeks.
My husband is about eight years old, I'm her client, for over five years. We always paid her statutory fee on time. But when a terrible thing happened, instead of giving the help legally required as our lawyer, she simply disappeared.
What Debra did was inhumane.
