The worst lawyer goes for advice. I don't know anything about the change in the immigration system.  I asked for a choice to speed up my husband's EAD because my husband's work permit expires after I-765. He said to my husband that he did not even say that after the license was expired, he could not work, that if he saw our documents or faced difficulties, he would have an on line request to urge the processing of the EAD. He also did not say that he met the 180-day automatic extension requirements submitted by USCIS. I found all of these on the USCIS website.  I paid for my lawyer's time, but he paid no attention to our case and was not interested in the matter. I was very disappointed with my lack of professionalism and knowledge of current policies.
