Evans, identified as Evans, was ejected from his motorcycle after losing control and being hit by a gray Dodge Journey driven by a 35-year female, who was waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway when she saw Evans' motorcycle passing by without its rider. The female driver of the Dodge was questioned and later released. The investigation into the incident continues.

HOUSTON, Texas — A fatal crash that occurred on Cullen Boulevard around 9:10 p.m. on Saturday has led to an ongoing investigation by the Houston Police Department.

The victim, identified as 42-year-old Demarcus Evans, was reportedly navigating his blue Suzuki motorcycle through traffic near the 7100 block of Cullen Boulevard when he lost control and was ejected from his vehicle. According to HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y Ramirez and Officer L. Fenoglio, a gray Dodge Journey, driven by a 35-year-old female, was waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway when the driver noticed the motorcycle passing by without its rider.

As the Dodge turned, it struck Evans who was lying in the roadway. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Evans dead at the scene. The female driver of the Dodge, who was found to be sober, remained at the scene. She was questioned and subsequently released.
