Astros fans are in need of luck as the team could use all the help and support they can get to win big in Arlington this week. On Opening Day, baseball is known for its superstitions, with players and managers known for their off-the-wall routines that supposedly give them an edge. However, many fans still participate in these rituals, which include eating the same meals every night and leaving the room during important moments. Some fans believe that not being present during crucial moments might actually help the team. Other superstitions include putting a lucky hat on your dog's head, which apparently sparked a home run, and keeping a routine over and over would make it easier for the Astros. Historically, baseball has become infamous for being riddled with superstitions and patterns. While players and managers have been known for having off-the-wall routines that supposedly give them an edge, many fans also take part in some wacky rituals.
With it being Opening Day, we’d like to hear how YOU are going to thwart the fate of the Astros for the next 162 games and beyond!

Here’s a list of some superstitions we came across that still hold true since our 2017 World Series run.
• None Eating the same meals every night - Some fans would rather eat leftovers during the playoffs.
• None That lucky spot on the couch - You remember exactly where you sat when the ‘Stros hit that game-tying homer? Welcome to your new forever-cushion!
• None Put a lucky hat on your dog - One fan put one of his lucky hats on his dog, and it apparently sparked a home run!
• None Leaving the room - Some unlucky fans believe that not being present in an important moment might actually help the team
• None Doing the same thing over and over -- Keeping a routine never felt so good.
• None Don’t interrupt when the Astros are at bat -- there’s a reason why the crowd goes silent when the Astros are batting.
• None Don’t do laundry...at least until it’s ALL over -- Hopefully you have an extra Astros jersey.
