A passenger in the Jeep did not survive and was later declared dead after being transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital.
In a statement obtained by City of Houston News, Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer L. Fenoglio of the HPD Vehicular Crimes Division reported on the crash. They also noted that the drivers of both vehicles, a 27-year-old woman from the Jeep, and a 27-year-old man from the Kia, were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries sustained during the collision.
