HOUSTON (WABC) -- In thrilling fashion, the New York Yankees came from behind to beat the Houston Astros 5-4 on Opening Day.

The Yankees fell behind early, falling into a 4-0 deficit by the second inning.

However, the Bronx Bombers, led by an RBI single from newcomer Juan Soto in the 5th inning, rallied back to tie the game in the 6th.

The Yankees would then score the go-ahead run in the 7th on a sacrifice fly from another new face, outfielder Alex Verdugo.

Clay Holmes would close it out in the 9th, but no before a dramatic finish.
