Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7900 Katy Freeway Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 7900 block of Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) service road on October 22. The victim, believed to be a 30-year-old male, was found at the scene and pronounced dead at the hospital. The identity of the deceased male is pending notification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. At this time, there is no information about the vehicle and driver involved in the crash.
