While it is unclear who sent the mailers or why, Stoger believes they may have been intentionally attempting to mislead people that the pamphlets were from a student organization. The return address listed on the envelopes, which does not exist, does not appear to exist. Stogern believes there may be a political motivation behind the act and is seeking to find out who is responsible and where they obtained the families' addresses.
