Cypress polling site unseats downtown location as most-visited early voting site in Harris County
Harris County is seeing record early voting turnout this midterm cycle, and a Cypress community center has overtaken a longtime downtown favorite as the busiest polling location. Harris County, Texas, is experiencing record early voting turnout this midterm cycle, with the Richard and Meg Weekley Community Center in Cypress becoming the most-visited polling location in the county. This surpasses the West Gray Multi-Service Center near downtown. The record turnout is partly due to the competitive Senate race between Ken Paxton and James Talarico. Early voting continues through the weekend and next week, with voters being able to find their nearest polling location through the ABC13 Early Vote Tracker.
