IAH opens Terminal B North Concourse with massive United Club
George Bush Intercontinental Airport opened its redeveloped Terminal B North Concourse featuring 22 mainline gates, local restaurants and a United Club. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) has opened the redeveloped Terminal B North Concourse, a three-level, 765,000-square-foot facility that features 22 mainline gates and is part of United Airlines' $2.6 billion Terminal B Transformation Program. The new facility is expected to give the airline 48 gates in Terminal B and increase the overall number of customers flying on peak travel dates in 2026 by 40% compared to 2023. The terminal features a 54,000 square-foot United Club, the largest club of any airline in the Americas, with seating for 800 travelers. Work began on the project in November 2023 and created approximately 3,000 construction-related jobs. The expansion will allow United to add new international destinations, including Mexico, Colombia, and Caracas, Venezuela.
