Man pleads guilty to Fort Bend County deputy's hit-and-run-death

A man is set to serve over a decade in prison for a crash that killed a Fort Bend County deputy earlier this year. Dennis Arguello-Acosta has pleaded guilty to Failure to Stop and Render Aid for an accident involving death of Fort Bend County Deputy Kenneth Lewis in February. The charges stem from a hit-and-run that killed Lewis, who was off-duty but in uniform when he stopped to help people involved in another crash. While he was assisting, a third vehicle hit him and left the scene. The Department of Homeland Security announced Arguell-Acost's arrest in March and he was taken into custody.
