Giants linebacker finally gets opportunity he returned for
Giants linebacker Micah McFadden tells us about earning another starting opportunity after battling back from injury and staying ready for his chance. Micah McFadden, a New York Giants linebacker, has been given an opportunity to play after a year-ending Lisfranc injury that sidelined him for a year. McFadden chose to return to the team and continue his rehabilitation from the injury, which sidelined him 12 plays into the season. The Giants signed Tremaine Edmunds, Arvell Reese, and Arvell Rees, the best non-QB on their board in the 2026 NFL Draft, brought McFadden in to replace Edmunds. McFaddon has played just two defensive snaps this year, emerging as a core special teamer with Edmunds playing all 380 on that side of the ball for Big Blue. The expectation is that McFadden will be responsible for distributing the play call to the entire defense before every snap.
