HOUSTON, Texas — Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect sought in the fatal shooting of a man at 6420 Gulf Freeway last Friday.
The suspect is described as an unknown Hispanic male. The victim, identified as 41-year-old Fernando Villarreal, was shot outside a gas station at the address. The suspect, wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark shorts, fled the scene.
A preliminary investigation revealed Villarreal and the suspect knew each other and had been together at the gas station for more than three hours before the shooting. The suspect is believed to live in the area of Telephone Road and the Gulf Freeway. The motive for the shooting remains unknown.
