Children’s Museum Houston's storybook soirée casts a $1.3 million spell
Once upon a time, Houston’s A-listers decided that happily ever after could use a little mischief. The Children's Museum Houston's storybook soirée, held at the Corinthian, invited guests to unleash their inner child. The event, which included A-listers such as Jessica and Michael Bertuccio, Bahareh and James Flavin, and underwriting chairs Lauren and Max Barrett and Lilly and Harrison Cullen, raised a record $1.3 million for the museum's educational programs and outreach. The evening featured a variety of activities, including a silent auction offering various prizes including a Mexican estate getaway, a Riviera Maya retreat, and the chance to throw an Astros ceremonial first pitch. The Avondale Orchestra and late-night chicken and waffles provided food for guests.
