New York Giants roast experts, Vegas after Week 7 win vs. Texans
The New York Giants and several of their players roasted NFL "experts" and Vegas insiders after a thrilling overtime win in Week 7. New York Giants defeated the Houston Texans 27-21 in overtime, despite being considered significant underdogs in the NFL's Week 7 game. National experts and insiders largely followed the consensus that the Texans would win, with many predicting double-digit margins. The Giants managed 420 total yards and limited Houston's 237 yards, leading to a 27-20 overtime victory. The win puts them 4-2-1 and puts them alone in first in the NFC East heading into the bye. The team's social media response was swift, with players including linebacker Abdul Carter and defensive tackle D.J. Reader expressing their disbelief at the consensus of the experts' predictions.
