Harris County prosecutors and Houston police are urging women who were sexually assaulted by NASA engineer Eric Sim, who was recently charged with six counts of sexual assault and later released on a $500,000 bond, to come forward. There are currently six women who claim they were victimized by Sim from 2019 to 2022. Sim was arrested on Feb. 29 and is currently under 24-hour house arrest under a 24/hour curfew. The 37-year-old, who travels internationally, may have more victims as there is a possibility of victims overseas.

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Harris County prosecutors and Houston police are encouraging women who were sexually assaulted by a NASA engineer to come forward.

There are six women who say they were victimized by Eric Sim from 2019 to 2022 and authorities believe there may be more.

Our news partners reported that Sim was arrested back on Feb. 29 with two counts of sexual assault and was later released on a $500,000 bond.

The 37-year-old travels internationally. So there is possibility of victims overseas.

Sim is out on bond under 24-hour house arrest.
