Houstonians wearing all white bring Parisian flair to pop-up dinner
White was the new black as Le Dîner en Blanc turned City Place Park into a Parisian-inspired playground of chic picnicking, music, and a little joie de vivre. On October 17, more than 1,000 guests descended upon the waterfront destination, dressed in their ivory best for the international phenomenon’s signature soirée. The Children's Museum Houston's annual pop-up dinner was held at the Corinthian Corinthian in Houston, inviting guests to indulge in a bit of mischief at a cost of $1.3 million raised for the museum's educational programs and outreach. The event was held in Parisian style, featuring guests dressed in costumes and themes such as Prince Charmings, villains, and fallen angels. The silent auction offered a variety of experiences, including a Mexican estate getaway, a Riviera Maya retreat, and the chance to throw an Astros ceremonial first pitch. Over 500 guests helped raise a record $1 million for the Children's museum's education programs and community outreach.
